Breakout Kings

At BLT & Associates, a design firm that specializes in theatrical movie posters, television advertising and home entertainment marketing, I was part of the Marketing and Design team. We were responsible for brainstorming guerilla advertising tactics, poster layouts, game ideas, social networking challenges and much more. I was also responsible for designing logo iterations, poster ideas, mocking up social marketing tactics, and completing proposal books for clients.

Breakout Kings is one of the many shows that I worked on during my internship. It is an A&E series featuring con artists as cops. The interplay of words and roles in this series is what inspired a lot of the poster ideas and marketing schemes. We often asked, "What would a con do?" What separates them from the legal law enforcers that they are working with? To delineate their placement as cons in the show, the use of bars, graffiti, and the Rube Goldberg Machine were themes that we explored in various poster layouts. While I can not claim any specific responsiblity for the results, I was an equal part in the design process.
